A little out of order but this shows the stringers, chine log, and sheer rail.  It also shows the extension I added to accommodate to motor well. 
Installing the chine log which is built out of several layers of 1/4' oak laminated with epoxy.
You can never own to many clamps.  Laminating the chine log in place ensured a proper fit and exceptional strength.  Takes more time but well worth the effort.
First layer of plywood being installed on bottom.  Each piece is sized to place the joint over a bulkhead and then epoxied in place.
 

The plans I used were drawn by Arch Davis for his Bay Pilot 18' cruiser.  I ordered the full sized mylar sheets to insure the hull was cut exactly to his design.  From the chine log to the sheer I changed the design to fit my concept of what the boat should look like.  I also added approximately 3' behind frame #8 to accommodate the motor well.  
The girders received a 1/2 X 4" oak pad which adds substantial structural integrity to the boat.
Some creative clamping to hold the stringers in place so I can mark the cuts in the frames.
The lower stringers make a hard bend to accommodate the stem.  To keep them from breaking I split the bow portion on the band saw and then added epoxy prior to clamping them in place.  All stringers are red oak.
 

It all begins with the frames.  Cut from 3/4" marine plywood.
The stem was made by laminating several layers of hardwood together to form the shape I wanted.
The frames are set up and braced and the first girder is being fit into the frames. 
Note that frames #2 & #3 are designed to be removed after all the stringers are installed.  Frame #4 is the helm station.
